Wings of Hope is committed to breaking the cycle of interpersonal violence by providing safety, hope and empowerment to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. We currently have a wonderful staff of over 50 professionals, including licensed therapists, certified advocates, and undergraduate and graduate interns. Our facility is a multi-million dollar, state of the art, gated, secure facility with a nine-family unit shelter in Stillwater, Oklahoma. SENIOR COUNSELOR 

In search of LMFT or LPC Counseling Professionals!

Senior Counselor/Clinical Compliance:Must be LPC or LMFT licensed. Must have some experience working with victims of interpersonal violence, all ages, or similar population.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide individual, group and/or family therapy to victims of intimate partner violence
Providing consultation and support to agency staff
Coordinate quality initiatives and best practice policies; conduct program evaluations; monitor accreditation and certification standards; ensure proper billing documentation; oversee risk management for clinical staff; oversee internal auditing, and ensure standards compliance and
Provide regular training to staff on these topics.

REQUIREMENTS

Licensed Mental Health Professional
Master’s degree in counseling related field
A minimum of two years’ experience working with similar population

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge of a variety of counseling techniques and demonstrated skill in application of these
Skill in crisis intervention techniques
Knowledge of community resources and ability to make appropriate referrals.
Knowledge of the psychological and physical effects of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and emotional abuse as well as issues of legality, ethics, and treatment.
Ability in not imposing self-values or judgment onto victims or perpetrators of domestic violence, sexual assault, or child abuse.
Knowledge and consideration of the ethical issues related to Stillwater Domestic Violence Services, Inc., especially confidentiality.
Must pay meticulous attention to detail, and be able to spot and correct errors.
Must demonstrate reliable accuracy and efficiency.
