Donate

On average, an Oklahoma dies every five days as a result of domestic violence according to the Oklahoma Fatality Review Board, making your gift truly life-saving.

Your donation helps Wings of Hope break the cycle of violence for approximately 2,000 community members.

Domestic Violence is the third leading cause of homelessness among families with 50% of all women who are homeless reporting that domestic violence was the immediate cause of their homelessness, according The National Center of Family Homelessness.

Experts say domestic violence is a complex issue that requires a collaborative community response. Thank you for being part of the response. Donate today!

Hope Takes Flight

The Wings of Hope Family crisis Services Hope Takes Flight Butterfly Program was created in 2011. The custom painted butterfly statues symbolizing hope and transformation in large [4ft x 4ft], small [15 in x 15 in] or mini [6 in] are available for purchase by patrons dedicated to giving the gift of hope, while helping to spread awareness of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault.

Over 50 large statues and 125 small statues adorn businesses, schools, medical facilities, parks, and private gardens.

Your purchase of one large statue [$3500] funds 23 nights for one woman and one child to stay in our safe shelter. One small butterfly [$500] funds 3 weeks of child care for one child so mom can go to school or work.

Email butterflies@sdvs.org to schedule a butterfly painting party.
